Presenting P-squared

I have a close circle of friends who are apparently obsessed with nicknames. You know who you are. /wave We all went to a Devil Ray’s game last week where I was informed that I have a nickname now: P-squared for Perfectly Petersen.

As a designer, you can’t help but have lightbulbs, fireworks, and Mother of all Bombs going off in your head when you hear a catchy name like that. Here is something about how the process works:

  1. I’m not offended.
  2. Hey, that’s actually pretty cool.
  3. I’ve never had a cool nickname before.
  4. Sure beats the heck out of Dogboy.
  5. Whoa!! New title for my blog coming…
  6. It’ll be P-squared now…
  7. I can finally make a logo!
  8. Yes!!!
  9. Hey, why is my wife looking at me like that?
  10. I’d better sit still for a while.

That about wraps up what happens in my head in approximately 28ms.

    Hey Joyce!

    Thanks. I’d be crazy to not include you in that circle. You and Lindsey are so much like us, it would be like cutting off my left pinkie finger if we stopped getting together. You never know how much you use your pinky finger until you lose it.. or so I’ve heard… that’s why I like looking down to see that I still have both of my pinky fingers.

    That is very funny P-squared I get the Big-O, Shortiz, my last name is Ortiz, shorty and most recently Lil’ O since I was in a class and there was a guy there who had a last name that started with O and he was bigger than me. speaking of pinkies after I read your comment I also looked down to make sure mine were there. lol

    I know what you mean, Lance. I used to be “Little P.” Needless to say, I was NOT happy with that nickname.

    I was thinking the P2 as soon as i read p-squared. Said “P-two” Now you can be like P-ditty, or what ever he called himself.

    I had 2 nicknames made in highschool:
    Jolygreen
    The Mighty Budda

    Both because I’m on the large side and one because I have towered over every one I know since 16 years old.

    Now the new moniker is Mindkiller. Self chosen and fits my personality instead of my appearence.

    Nice change to the Header. Very cool.

    Not much going on. Havent advanced any closer to my Kara attunement and am focusing on money making. I’ll see if i can diig something up from my head today, game related or other.

    NICE LOGO. Gotta say P-squared is a pretty smooth nickname :) Beats Little P for sure! It’d be pretty hard to play your new piano without your pinkies… how would you ever improve? :)
