Czech Man Crashes Bike, Speaks Perfect English
Posted by: | CommentsIn a bizarre twist of neurons, bike racer Matej Kus knocked himself silly in a racing accident. After coming to, he was speaking perfect, fluent English with the paramedics. Before the accident, Matej knew only basic phrases.
After flying home, he didn’t remember any of the previous two days and lost his new-found ability to pick up American chicks.
General Patton Speaks Out Against All That Is Stupid
Posted by: | CommentsI’ll bet most of us have seen the classic film ‘Patton’ with General Patton played by George C. Scott. Mike Kaminski is a professional Voice talent/Actor/Producer and Standup Comedian from the Tampa area where this blog broadcasts from. He is truly one of the most skilled voice imitators on the planet and can change his voice at the drop of a hat. You must check him out.
Anyway, he dubbed his voice over the famous Patton speech from the film himself. He spent 2 weeks going over the wording to perfect what he wanted to say and then spent a month editing the DVD of the movie to fit the mouthing as best he could.
This is NOT work safe, as he does use a few expletives, but it is nothing out of character for the movie. Consider it rated PG-13 to R. You’ve been warned.

Grandma Takes the Cake and 2nd Place
Posted by: | CommentsJenny Brown entered a cake in a contest and was really happy to get second place. Who wouldn’t be, right? Well, the only entrant in the competition wouldn’t be, and that was exactly what happened: 2nd place prize as the only cake in the competition.
The reason: the judges didn’t think that it was worthy of a blue ribbon nomination. It just wasn’t that good. Ouch!
As it turns out, 11 years ago, she entered scones in another contest, was the only entry, and got third prize. She should just be happy to be moving up in the world.

Sir, May I See Your Receipt?
Posted by: | CommentsI am a cranky old man at the ripe age ot 28 already. As a matter of fact, I began one of my cranky practices while I was still in high school. I love Radio Shack. What electronics geek doesn’t? Wires, cables, batteries, and 5 billion things that plug into the wall. It’s a man’s heaven on earth, along with the other staples of Best Buy, Sears, and Home Depot. RAWR!!
Radio Shack has, since I can remember, asked you for your zip code at check-out. Some ask for your phone number. I have always told them they can’t have it or that I don’t have one. I often wonder if they think I’m homeless or a bold-faced liar. Don’t care. I’m not giving them one shred more details about my personal information than I have to. They have my money, and I have their merchandise.
